This article focuses on what happens when you select multiple players at once and apply changes to them.

Note: To select more than one player, hold down the "Control" key (or "Cmd" on Mac) while clicking on the players you want to manage.

Assigning or Removing Tags for Multiple Players

When you assign or remove tags for multiple players at once, it will replace any existing tags they already have; for example:

  • Player 1 has Tag A

  • Player 2 has Tag B

  • If you select both players and assign them Tag C, both players will only have Tag C

Warning: The original tags (Tag A and Tag B) are removed and only Tag C remains.

Note: When you select multiple players at the same time, the context-sensitive menu will only display the tags that all of them have in common. Individual tags for each player will not be visible.

This same behavior applies when you apply changes to settings like audio, resolution, or screen on times.

Changing Other Settings (Audio, Resolution, Screen On Times)

If you update settings like audio, resolution, or screen on times for multiple players, the new setting will replace whatever the players were previously set to.

For instance:

  • Player 1 has one resolution, and Player 2 has another.
  • After selecting both players and applying a new resolution, both players will now have the same resolution, and their previous resolution settings will be replaced.
Tips:
  • You can easily tell which players you've selected if the players are grayed out and a close button (X) appears in the top right corner.
  • Applying changes to multiple players at once can save you time, but it's important to remember that when you assign tags or adjust settings, the previous tags / settings will be replaced. Therefore, please double-check your selections and changes to make sure you’re applying them correctly.
