How to grant Subscription Manager permissions

The Subscriptions section is available within the Assets product. Access is restricted to users who have the appropriate permissions.

Authorized users can use the Subscriptions section to:

• View all current and available subscriptions
• Create subscription requests
• Access generated requests section

Users Who Can Access the Subscriptions Section

Global Admins with Assets Enabled

Global Admins automatically receive the Subscription Manager permission when the Assets product is enabled for them.

This permission cannot be removed from Global Admins.

Users with the Subscription Manager Permission

Non-admin users can access the Subscriptions section only when:

1. The Assets product is enabled for their user.
2. The Subscription Manager permission is granted to them by a Global Admin.

Users without both of these requirements will not see the Subscriptions section.

Granting Subscription Manager Permision

Only Global Admins can grant the Subscription Manager permission to other users.

This permission can be assigned either when inviting a new user or when editing an existing user.

For Existing Users

1. Navigate to Settings → User Management.

   
    

2. Select the user and click Edit.

   
    

3. Enable the Assets product.

   
    

4. Tick the Subscription Manager permission checkbox.

   
    

5. Save the changes.

   
    

For New Users to the Account

1. Navigate to Settings → User Management.
    
2. Click Invite User.
    
3. Fill in the user details.
    
4. Enable the Assets product.
   
    
5. Tick the Subscription Manager permission checkbox.
   
    
6. Send the invitation.
   
    

Once the user has access to Assets and the Subscription Manager permission is enabled, the Subscriptions section will become available to them.

Summary

To access the Subscriptions section, a user must have:

• Access to the Assets product
• The Subscription Manager permission

Global Admins automatically receive this permission when Assets is enabled. Other users must have it assigned by a Global Admin during user creation or through user management.
