How to generate an API key for my SpinetiX HUB account

SpinetiX HUB provides users the ability to generate and make use of a unique API key for each account they administer.

How to generate a SpinetiX HUB account API key

To generate an API key for your SpinetiX HUB account, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your SpinetiX HUB account and navigate to INTEGRATIONS.
   If you do not see INTEGRATIONS, you need to request access from the Global Admin of your account.
   
    
2. Click on API Key in the left-side menu.
   
    
3. Click on Generate API Key.
   
    

4. A pop-up appears displaying the newly generated API key. The API key is displayed only once at the time of generation. After closing this pop-up, the API key will no longer be visible. If you close it before completing your setup, you will need to generate a new API key.

   

   Note: Once you close the pop-up, a blue notification message appears at the top confirming that the API key has been generated.  
   
    
   Note: If an API key had been previously generated for your account, clicking on Generate New API Key will render the previous API key invalid. This means that any existing connection to the API will need to be reconfigured to use the new API key.
